In 2020 and 2021, Dr. Johnson was working on the publication of a new edition of Francis Parker Yockey's 'Enemy of Europe' with the book finally getting published in April of 2022.
It goes without saying that Yockey and his work were highly regarded by Dr. Johnson, to the point where he even decided to build and maintain a comprehensive 'Yockey Archive' and publish definitive editions of all of his writings.
Then came the war in Ukraine and during one of his broadcasts in April of 2023 it became apparent that Johnson's opinions on Yockey and his book had changed somewhere along the way - radically changed:
Audio transcript:
He [Bolton, the author of the introduction] lays out how this [the book 'The Enemy of Europe' published by Johnson himself] has to be seen in the context of a charm offensive by Stalin to try and co-opt former nаzis in east and west Germany.
I think it's a deeply dishonest book and it's organically part of a larger communist propaganda operation.
It's deeply dishonest, why? Well he argues, for instance, that he knew about the Katyn massacre but he just waives away all these ideas that the communists could sweep in and just murder tens of thousands or millions of people.
He covers up for Stalin's crimes to argue basically for lowering the guard towards the communist block and, you know, instead try to break Europe away from the United States.
I just think it's despicable, it's despicable and dishonest, really, and it's just propaganda in the service of a larger Stalinist operation.
So, 'Enemy of Europe' is a 'deeply dishonest' and 'despicable'(!) book; 'part of a larger communist propaganda operation' and an 'organic part'(!) at that...
Yockey has entered Dr. Johnson's list of 'Putin agents' and 'Kremlin propagandists' along with pretty much everyone else in the western nationalist sphere.
Dr. Johnson’s trademark of casual lying is certainly present here. Nowhere in Bolton's introduction (which has been previously posted by Counter Currents and can be viewed here) or in Yockey's own text (which can be retrieved from multiple online sources) is there any mention of the Katyn massacre - Johnson simpy makes it up.
Nor does Yockey ‘covers up Stalin's crimes' as Dr. Johnson asserts.
On the contrary, highlighting the brutality of the Soviet regime is a leitmotif running throughout Yockey's book.
Thus, we observe the smearing of Yockey as a Soviet agent, lying about the content of his book, twisting and misrepresenting the words of the introduction writer, Kerry Bolton.
Classic Johnson.
I totally remember the whole Yockey celebration thing going on, even having Kerry Bolton on his publication and having a secret birthday event around Yockey too.
As far back as 2010 under Occidental Observer, there was Johnson celebrating Yockey as well.
I guess he hates Arktos and Bolton and does it out of spite?
