Dr. Johnson informs his listeners about his dealings with a bunch of... foreign agents that were trying to recruit him into political influence operations at the behest of... Russia and Iran.
Lest anyone missed these bizarre revelations, Johnson made sure to pin them on his ~3,000 follower X account late in the summer and managed to get 35 retweets and 126 likes as of September 6.
More of the same:
And yet more:
-
Now, given the obviously desperate political drive in the U.S to investigate and make a media sensation of every (in)probable instance of foreign interference, particularly Russian and Iranian, and especially on the political right...
...It's not unreasonable to assume that were Johnson's messages to come to the attention of the authorities, one of two things would happen:
Either Dr. Johnson would receive a request for an interview with the FBI in order to... elaborate.
Or a FISA surveillance warrant would be issued.

Question:
Let's imagine a person who handles the personal identities of hundreds of subscribers and donors to a political dissident publication. How stupid does this person have to be in order to be running around touting his entanglements with Russian foreign agents and Iranian influence operations in 2024 America?
Answer:
Very stupid. Almost as stupid as Dr. Johnson.

One can only hope that sensible people will keep him at the appropriate, ten foot pole, distance.
